Having assessed the increasing work of Somali Public Agenda (SPA), and the heavy managerial duties on the shoulders of the Executive Director, SPA Board of Directors decided to appoint a Deputy Executive Director for Somali Public Agenda.

SPA Board of Directors appointed Farhan Isak Yusuf (currently SPA Senior Researcher) as the new SPA Deputy Executive Director. Farhan has been working with SPA since 2018, and played a crucial role in the institution’s research output and overall growth.

Farhan has BA and MSc in Political Science from Mogadishu University and Omdurman University in Sudan respectively. He also has over nine years of experience in research and teaching.
