On Thursday, 15 May 2025, Somali Public Agenda signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Puntland Development and Research Centre (PDRC) in Garowe.
PDRC is an independent research and policy institute based in Garowe, Puntland, Somalia. It promotes peacebuilding, development, and effective governance through research, analysis, dialogue, and civic engagement.
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in areas such as research, capacity development, policy engagement, and dialogue. The focus is on jointly addressing challenges related to governance and public service delivery in Somalia.
Under this partnership, SPA and PDRC will collaborate on joint research initiatives, publications, and policy briefs; co-organize dialogues, roundtables, trainings, and webinars; participate in each other’s programs and consultations; and share platforms for outreach and dissemination.
